T O P I C R E V I E WRossNine Sparta rockets were launched from 1966-67 from Woomera Test Range South Australia as part of a joint United States–United Kingdom–Australian research program aimed at understanding re-entry phenomena. In addition the U.S. donated the 10th rocket for a scientific satellite launch (WRESAT). Covers were issued for all these launches. They consisted of two types. The first received Adelaide postmarks and are considered commemorative covers only. The second type are true launch covers and received Woomera postmarks.I have documented all the covers I am aware of on my Australian site. However, there are a number of gaps. In particular I would like to see scans of Woomera postmarked covers from 5 July 1967, 25 July 1967 and 1 November 1967. Any help would be appreciated.LM1Interesting posting Ross!
